Auction Rules
How bidding, proxy bids, extensions and reserves work.
Version 2026-09-29
Server-verified bidding
All bids are validated on our servers at the moment they are received. The auction clock is our server's clock.
Minimum increments
Each bid must meet the minimum increment for the current price. Increments are shown when you bid.
Proxy (maximum) bidding
Enter the most you are willing to pay. The system bids on your behalf only as much as needed to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum. Maximums are never shown to other users. If two bidders enter the same maximum, the earlier bid wins.
Anti-sniping extensions
If a bid is placed in the final minutes of an auction, the end time is extended so others have a fair chance to respond. The window and extension length are shown on each listing.
Reserve prices
A seller may set a hidden reserve. If bidding does not reach it, the lot is not sold. Listings show whether a reserve exists and whether it has been met.
Bidder requirements
Every bidder must have a verified mobile number. Sellers may also require a minimum number of completed pickups or no recent no-shows; these requirements are shown on the listing.
After the auction
The winner has 24 hours to confirm. Once confirmed, the winner sees the address and pickup windows and pays the seller directly. If the winner declines or does not respond, the seller may offer the lot to the next-highest bidder.
Prohibited bidding
Sellers may not bid on their own auctions, directly or through other accounts. Shill bidding results in account termination.
